To help us serve you efficiently and safely, please follow these important guidelines when preparing your garbage for pickup:

• No yard waste, paints, liquids (oils, thinners, etc), tires, batteries, propane tanks, any flammable materials, radioactive materials, hazardous waste, TVs, computers, electronic devices, refrigerators, air conditioners, and any items with freon or mercury

General Preparation Guidelines:

• Freon-Based Appliances: Must have proof of Freon removal taped to the item.
• Paint Cans: Must be fully dried (tip: kitty litter works well). Leave lids off and place beside your trash.
• Carpeting: Must be bundled and cut into lengths of 3–4 feet.
• Heavy Items: Each can or bag must weigh no more than 40–50 lbs. If you can’t lift it, we can’t either.
• Extra Trash: Please call the office in advance to schedule pickup for any additional waste beyond your normal volume.
